How do I get to events in Scarborough?
The Summerset Arts Festival strives to be a sustainable festival and encourages all patrons to think green when getting to and from all festival events; particularly those in Scarborough such as the Sunset Veranda and Seaside Spectacular.

Why not have a healthy and eco-friendly day out by walking or cycling? There are a number of walking and cycling paths in the area; visit www.transport.wa.gov.au/cycling for more information. There will be VIP Bike Parking right at the entry to the Sunset Veranda.

Scarborough Beach is well serviced by public transport. You can catch a bus from Stirling Train Station or Glendalough Train Station (which are both located on the Joondalup train line). The 990, 410, 421 and 422 bus routes all service Scarborough beach. We also recommend using Transperth’s Journey Planner for up to date route suggestions. To travel on any Transperth service, you need to purchase a ticket or use your SmartRider. Before you travel make sure you plan your journey using the Transperth JourneyPlanner at transperth.wa.gov.au.  For more information call the Transperth InfoLine on 13 62 13.

Taxis and ride sharing services such as Swan Taxis, Uber and Shofer all operate in Perth and are a convenient and affordable way to get to and from festival events safely; especially if you decide to have a drink.

Public parking is extremely limited in the area as a result of the redevelopment works. If you absolutely must drive, it is recommended that you allow yourself extra time to find parking. Additional parking may be available in the following locations:
  • Wilson Manning Street Multi Level car park (free 2 hour parking, fees apply after 2 hours)
  • Underneath the Rendezvous Hotel (fees apply), access via West Coast Hwy and The Esplanade
  • Trigg Beach Carpark accessed via Karrinyup Rd & West Coast Hwy
  • Some on-street parking may be available in streets east of West Coast Drive (sign posted parking restrictions apply);
Please be respectful of our neighbours by not parking on their verges or blocking their driveways. Parking patrols are regularly undertaken in the area and fines for illegal parking will apply. This includes parking in no-stopping zones, on residential verges, driveways, tow away zones etc
Where do I park for the Summerset Concert at Stirling Civic Gardens?
We recommend using public transport to travel to and from this event. However, if you need to drive please use the parking allocation indicated on this Parking Map.

Expressions of interest to be involved in the 2018 festival have now closed.
How can I give feedback about the festival?
A post-festival survey will be made available online soon after the festival commences. This survey will give everyone the opportunity to provide formal feedback about the festival. Results of this survey are used by the Summerset Arts Festival team when planning for future events.
